Sean Hasselback

Sean was described by the Age as "bringing wit and awkwardness in equal measure", and is choosing to take it as a compliment.  He's known for mixing up dead-pan delivery with high commitment character-work.

An Improv Conspiracy alumni and graduate of the Australian School of Stand-up Comedy, the stage has been Sean's second home since 2018.  A Harold-Night cast member of team 'Runt', he has performed to sell-out crowds at Fringe festival with "Law and Order: Special Improv Unit", and previous show credits include "This Just In! Prov", "This Is Not A Sequel: An Improvised Movie" and "Improvised Saturday Night Live".

Beyond improv, Sean claimed victory at Sol's 2024 Defrost Festival Lip Sync Battle, runner-up at Fringe-o-vision song contest (with Olga Loitsenko) and has written and performed Sketch Comedy, having worked under Tom Burton and Stu Daulman.  If he's not on stage, Sean might be behind the tech desk, supporting numerous shows including Comedy Roulette.
